A summertime concert tour includes a June 14th date at the Brady Theater, where Lovett will headline a night that includes singer John Hiatt.
The 53-year old Klein, Texas native has also acted in a number of motion pictures, including The Player, Short Cuts, Prêt-à-Porter, Cookie’s Fortune – all directed by Robert Altman. Lovett composed the score for the Richard Gere film Dr. T & the Women, in 2000.
In 2002, he added to his acting resume with an appearance in The New Guy, and in 2007 co-starred in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.
