Another outing, another dismal final score for the Tulsa Shock.
The latest loss came without the play of draft-pick Elizabeth Cambage, who was sidelined by a concussion. To their credit, the Shock kept it close for a time against Indianapolis, eventually falling 82-74 without their star player.
Cambage was hit in the face in the fourth quarter of the Sunday loss to Connecticut, and left that game after the accidental elbow strike. It was later determined that she had suffered a concussion and was kept out of the Indy game.
Katie Douglas led the cause for the Fever, scoring 22 points and grabbing seven rebounds on Tuesday.
The Shock countered with 19 points from Ivory Latta, and another 14 from Jennifer Lacy in the losing effort.
Tulsa has lost five straight games, and most have come by large margins.
